I got accepted into a few colleges! Carson–Newman University, Cumberland University, Lipscomb University, Austin Peay State University, and East Tennessee State University
School started August 17th. I’m a senior in high school, and I absolutely love it so far!
Marching band has started back up, this year’s show is entitled Fun in the Sun, and is Hawaiian themed. We’re playing Kokomo, Good Vibrations, and Surfin in the USA by The Beach Boys in the opener. The ballad is Under the Boardwalk, and the closer is Cheeseburger in Paradise by Jimmy Buffett.
I won a $1000 scholarship from MTEMC for winning the short story contest for high school juniors.
Right now I’m in an internship with The Edge. The Edge is a local newspaper in Watertown TN. I wanted to get familiar with writing for a newspaper so I know for my career path.
